What affects the price

The final price for your gas fireplace installation depends on several moving parts. It starts with the unit itself—whether you choose a basic insert or a high-end designer model with custom stone work. We also look at your existing venting setup; if we need to run new lines or modify your chimney, labor costs will increase. Gas line access and electrical requirements are other variables that shift the total investment. We can provide exact pricing confirmed free on the call.

About this service

When your current unit is outdated or no longer functions safely, a replacement involves removing the old firebox and installing a modern, high-efficiency gas insert into your existing masonry chimney. This is the right choice if your current fireplace has become inefficient, difficult to light, or visually unappealing. Replacing the unit allows you to upgrade to current safety standards while improving how much heat actually stays in your home rather than escaping up the flue.

Summer is the best time to upgrade or install a new system. Since demand is lower, you can often coordinate installation around your vacation schedule or home renovation projects. Tackling the installation now means you will be ahead of the rush when the first frost arrives later in the year.
