Gas logs for fireplace — St. Louis, MO

Last updated: September 24, 2026

What affects the price

The final price for your gas fireplace installation depends on several moving parts. It starts with the unit itself—whether you choose a basic insert or a high-end designer model with custom stone work. We also look at your existing venting setup; if we need to run new lines or modify your chimney, labor costs will increase. Gas line access and electrical requirements are other variables that shift the total investment. We can provide exact pricing confirmed free on the call.

About this service

Gas logs are the burner and ceramic log set placed inside a fireplace. Over time, these can become brittle, or the burner ports can clog, leading to uneven flames or soot. Service involves cleaning the logs, checking the embers for proper placement, and testing the gas valve. If your logs are cracked or the unit isn't lighting, it is time for a service visit. Pricing varies based on the type of log set and repairs. Exact pricing confirmed free on the call.

Summer is the best time to upgrade or install a new system. Since demand is lower, you can often coordinate installation around your vacation schedule or home renovation projects. Tackling the installation now means you will be ahead of the rush when the first frost arrives later in the year.
